The T82 Extreme operates on the PMR446 frequency band with a transmission power of 500mW and offers a range of up to 10km depending on terrain, conditions and environment. It features 16 channels with 121 privacy codes, allowing you to select suitable communication settings for different groups.
Each radio features a hidden display that activates when required, helping preserve battery life while still providing important radio information. Easy pairing makes setting up a group of radios straightforward, while channel scan, channel monitor, VOX hands-free operation and dual channel monitoring provide additional flexibility.
Built for outdoor use, the radios have an IPX4 weather-resistant design and feature an integrated LED torch for additional visibility. Vibrate alerts, 20 call tones, keypad lock and battery level indication provide further convenience during everyday use.
The rechargeable NiMH batteries provide up to 18 hours of battery life under standard usage conditions, while the radios can also operate with standard AA-sized batteries. Charging is handled through the included Micro USB chargers.
