The Samsung 870 EVO 4TB is a high capacity internal SSD designed to provide fast and reliable storage for compatible desktop PCs laptops and other systems using a 2.5 inch SATA interface. Using a SATA 6Gb/s interface, the 870 EVO delivers sequential read speeds of up to 560MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 530MB/s. Samsung Intelligent TurboWrite technology helps accelerate write performance while maintaining strong performance during larger file transfers.
The drive uses Samsung V-NAND 3bit MLC flash memory together with the Samsung MKX controller and a 4GB LPDDR4 DRAM cache. This combination provides responsive performance for everyday computing, demanding applications and large data transfers.
